China Cycle Fair Canceled And New Situation

“Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and the control policy in China, the 31st China International Bicycle Fair (China Cycle 2022), scheduled on May 6th to 9th, 2022, has been postponed. We apologize for the inconvenience brought to you,” wrote the organizers in a statement to potential visitors of the key eastern trade fair.

For the past 15 years, we attended the fair every year. We participate in the exhibition to develop new customers and recommend new products and negotiate new projects with old customers. Since the beginning of the epidemic, it has been inconvenient for foreign customers to come to China. We began to change to online meetings. The suspension of the exhibition this year does not have much impact on us, and the production is carried out in an orderly manner as usual.

Work At Home In Shanghai

After Spring Festival Holidays in China, the situation in Shanghai is not optimistic. Our office is located in Jiading District, Shanghai. Since the notification of isolation and nucleic acid testing on March 15, we worked at home for 10 days. During these days, we finish 5 rounds of the nucleic acid tests. On April 1, Shanghai once again notified home isolation for screening nucleic acid tests. It will continue for around 5 days.

Due to the temporary interruption of domestic logistics due to the epidemic, the arrival time of bicycle bags and bicycle tools has been delayed. At the beginning of March, the express I sent to a customer in the UK was delayed for two weeks. At the same time, the international logistics price is unstable, and many customers have informed us of delayed shipment. In this special period, we need to work together with our customers to overcome the difficulties.
